To what extent does this workout make me feel like I'm inching closer towards my goal of being able to become a human pretzel? I am not an expert in anatomy and physiology, but I am convinced that my combination of muscles and bones severely inhibits my flexibility. Nonetheless, I still try (in vain) to stretch so that I can one day lift my leg to my ear in a standing split like the beautiful dancers of So You Think You Can Dance. Classes that rate highly on my "Stretch Factor" explicitly dedicate some time to stretching and improving flexibility.
